Postscript: The Demand for Diversity

Harold Smith at Green Pastures Elementary

This essay has been removed because it has been published in book form.  It’s available both as a paperback and an ebook. It's my attempt to answer the question of what happened to all the black teachers and administrators in Oklahoma after desegregation came in about 1955-1965.

  1. Thank you for this essay and this information. We the people of the United States of America are a diversified and wonderful population and it should be reflected in our educators and in the leaders of our businesses. Thank you very much for your time and effort. I was born in Oklahoma and due to the help of a black student in Junior College I was able to graduate high school and ended up with a teaching certificate. I taught for 4 years at Okinawa University in their international business division. Thank you again
