JSteve, I know the Boggs family--John and Ruby and their daughter Betty Dean, but I don't recognize your mother's name. Was she related to the Boggses?
Hi Wayne. My Mother (Jonne Boggs) Born in Davenport Nov 5, 1911. She would have been 29 at the time of this letter. I have a letter from my Father Paul Shelton to my Mother (before they were married) in 1935. The names John and Ruby don't sound familiar. Her father's name was Randolph. Looks like her Boggs family and John and Ruby's family must have been close enough for her to work there. DeleteMy mom Mary Moler worked at a grocery store, I believe. Maybe around 1947. I wonder if she worked here.
