What is the machine in the photo? It was sent in by Jan Vassar, a Lincoln County journalist. Her note on the photo says, "Taken from Orr Scrapbook (undated). Looks like a very young Babe Orr at right. Maybe a still. For sure something dug up."
Andrew "Babe" Orr, if this is indeed he, was Sheriff of Lincoln County from 1943-47.

The car frame looking piece looks like it belongs on the railroad.
